Cory earned a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. In New York, he developed plays with Lauren Yee and Ken Urban and acted alongside two-time Tony winner Kara Young in Lindsay Joy’s In the Event of My Death. Regionally, Cory appeared in the world premiere of Thomas Ward’s Slide By at the AT&T Performing Arts Center (Dallas) and worked as a principal understudy for the Sugarland-penned musical Troubadour at the Alliance Theatre (Atlanta). He’s made TV appearances on Mama Dallas, a Mike White directed pilot for HBO, as well as NBC's Revolution series.
Cory has performed locally with the Dallas Theater Center, Theatre Three, Imprint Theatreworks, and Ochre House Theatre. He’s also co-written music and lyrics for a trio of projects with the Danielle Georgiou Dance Group.
